Important Information for the 2011-12 School Year

School Hours
8:15am to 3:15pm
School Supplies
If you are not purchased a school supply kit from the PTO, please bring your child's school supplies with you to the August Open House. Supply lists for 2011-12 are enclosed.
Parent Involvement
Each year your parent application (gold form) MUST BE UPDATED and RESUBMITTED in order for us to log your parent involvement hours. Please complete the enclosed application for the 2011-12 school year as soon as possible. Applications received by June 10th will be processed over the summer and your background check will be complete prior to the first day of school.
Busing
A NEW application must be submitted each year. If you would like to request busing for your child(ren), you need to complete the transportation request form and return it to the school office as soon as possible.

Uniform Shirt Orders
If you are ordering new shirts and would like them delivered at the August Open House, order forms must be received by June 30th.
Open House
Tues, August 2nd: Morning VPK-6pm, Kindergarten-6:30pm, 1st grade-7pm, 2nd Grade-7:30pm
Thurs, August 4th: Afternoon VPK-6pm, 3rd grade-6:30pm, 4th grade -7pm, 5th Grade-7:30pm
Medications
If your child has medication at school, all medications must be picked up by 1pm on June 10th or they will be disposed of. New parent and doctor permission forms must be completed for the 2011-12 school year and should be brought with the medication to the August Open House.
Seat Declines
If your situation has changed and your child will NOT be attending Christa McAuliffe next year, please complete a Seat Decline Form (available in the front office) so that we can make your child's seat available to one of the many children on our waiting list.
Summer Hours
Our office hours for the summer are 9am to 3pm.
