Welcome to Physical Education Class!  Students will need to have sneakers on to participate for safety reasons. Our goal as educators is to teach basic physical education skills to children that can be applied through out life. In this class we promote teamwork while exercising and having fun.  We focus on games, individual and dual sports and team sports.  We promote fair play, being honest and good sportsmanship.  We teach the students to respect different ability levels while providing maximum opportunities for all children.  We have two big events through out the year that are a blast.  Students look forward to field day which is at the end of the school year.  This is a day when all the classes are outside participating in a bunch of fun water activities. Every year we look forward to it.  We also like to encourage our students to get involved in our community.  We do this by participating in Jump Rope for Heart and raising money for the American Heart Association.  This event promotes awareness of heart disease and teaches our students how important it is to be fit and healthy.  We look forward to a great year in physical education class!
